Hi everyone. In this article we will learn how to read a CEX order book and the difference between a limit and a market order. This is one of the first things you must know while trading, and knowing the difference will save you a lot of money. Have you ever bought a token and received less than the amount you expected? This is because you probably looked at the price of last trade. Let’s see an order book to better understand. I will use the Bitmart one for reference. Every CEX has his own style, but since I am the Civianist, I want to use one that has $CIV listed (other ones are Hotbit, Probit, Bittrex, Bkex in case you are pro-CEX).
